Randy Moore started roping calves on the collegiate level and continued with calves, team tying, and team roping as a PRCA member. The rodeos and roping events where he won or placed include the Cheyenne Frontier Days, the Wyoming State Fair Rodeo, Calgary Stampede Rodeo, Windy Ryon Memorial, Will Rogers Rodeo, and many others. Randy is founding president of the Senior’s Championship Steer Roping Association, one of the premier senior timed-event associations in the nation, which has more than 130 members and 25-30 ropings per year. The Cheyenne Frontier Days established an annual scholarship in Randy’s honor in 2005.
