Kenneth Beasley

Kenneth began rodeoing after high school in 1950, competing in bareback, bull riding and calf roping in amateur and open rodeos.

In 1953 he attended Texas A&M and joined the NIRA and participated in college rodeos. In 1954-56 Kenneth was in the Army, went overseas and did very little rodeoing. He returned to A&M in 1956 and went to NIRA, SRA, and IRA rodeos, mostly in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Kenneth went to the NIRA Finals in 1956 and 1957. He started steer wrestling and bronc riding at college rodeos.

Kenneth quit rough stock riding after graduating from college in 1961 but continued steer wrestling until 1970. He won the SRA steer wrestling championship in 1963 and 1964.
