Keith started riding bulls at 13 years old and competed for 16 years. Greene was better known as “Leech” a name which the cowboys gave him because they couldn’t buck him off. He rode many bulls that had been bucked for many years without being rode.
One of the best shows Greene had was when he won a six-day rodeo in Springfield, Missouri. He drew the great bucking bull TX that had never been ridden.
His traveling partners included Ed Boren, Dobbin Preece, George Haines, Larry Swope, Jack Rice, Billy Bridges, Jimmy Georg, Billy Hogan, Bill Satterwhite and Bill Humphrey.
