Ed Cole is a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. His first bull riding title came in 1950. In 1956 Ed started to work for Frank Harris on the T-Diamond Ranch assisting with the ranch work and in rodeo production.
Cole’s rodeo career spanned 21 years. In the SRA, he was 9-times All Around Champion, 8-times Bull Riding Champion, 7-times Saddle Bronc Riding Champion and 8-times Steer Wrestling Champion.
He was runner-up in the bareback, saddle bronc, steer wrestling, bull riding and all around 11 times. Presently he ranches and raises cattle and horses in Sweeny, Texas.
