Sue Miller was born in Waco, Texas. She started riding at 5 years of age. At 9 she started competing in Play Day Horse Shows and then went on to compete in Amateur Rodeos.
Sue married in 1968 to Mead Miller. The couple started training horses. In 1990 Sue got her WRRA card and with her horse, Scootnflit, “Scooter went to the Texas Circuit Finals 12 years in a row.
They appeared 4 times at the NFR and were the Mesquite Rodeo Champions three times. Sue has won numerous Pro Rodeo Champions and has been competing for twenty- six years. She is still in the winning column in barrel racing and riding the bay gelding Scott. She and her husband Mead now live in Lott, Texas.
