Calf roper Rusty Sewalt hails from Del Rio, Texas. His rodeo titles include PRCA Coors Chute Out Champion (1998) and NIRA, South Region Champion. Rusty’s other accomplishments include five-time NFR Qualifier, two-time Dodge National Circuit Finals Qualifier, qualifier for multiple Texas Circuit Finals, and Wilderness Circuit Champion.
He won major rodeos in Reno, Salinas, Greeley, Prescott, Guymon, Colorado Springs, Tucson, Puyallup, Albuquerque, Jackson, and at the Calgary Rodeo Royal. His major roping wins include two times at the San Angelo Roping Fiesta; Spicer Grip in Hereford, Texas; and Phil Lyne Invitational in Uvalde.
Rusty is a member of the PRCA, NIRA, and THSRA.
