A 1997 sorrel mare, Pearl is owned by Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller of Stephenville, Texas. She was bred and trained by Sid’s brother Dusty. She has had over 2 million dollars won on her in the PRCA, by top ropers like Cody Ohl, Trevor Brazil, Tuff Copper, Shane Hanchey, and many others. She was the PRCA Horse of the Year in 2009 and 2013. Sid won the AOHA world on her in 2006, 2007, and 2013 in the amateur tie-down. She has 722 AQHA points and was high point horse of the year 6 times. Every major rodeo has been won on Pearl, and she is known as one of the best match roping horses of all time.
