Brenda gained her love for the western way of life from her dad, Las Vegas Legend Benny Binion. She spent her childhood at the Binion Ranch in Montana learning about horses and ranching. She was always a true cowgirl. She would carry on the passion for the western industry into everything she did from being and accomplished competitor in the National Cutting Horse Association, owning/operating the Lighthouse Ranch in Canyon, TX and her dedication to the Benny Binion Bucking Horse Sale. Her support for rodeo is exemplified in the Ken Stemler Pioneer Award in the Pro-Rodeo Hall of Fame and the Tri-State Cowgirl of the Year Award where she pioneered the funds to bring the Amarillo National Center to fruition.
