Mack Altizer

Stock Contractor

Mack Altizer, brought rock ‘n’ roll music to the rodeo arena, a Bad Company Rodeo production is full of excitement, with the motto of “Expect the Unexpected”. The focus of every production is to make sure that every person who attends, no matter how young or old they are, has a good time. Bad Company Rodeo was the first to name their bucking animals after popular music and synchronize the music with the action in the arena.

As a ranch cowboy, Altizer has been around livestock all of his life. That background is complemented by his love for competition and experience in the rodeo arena. He is a second generation rodeo competitor that started in the American Junior Rodeo Association (AJRA) and the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA). He also served as student president in both associations. Innovation and setting trends started early for Altizer. While in the NIRA, he helped negotiate taking the College National Finals Rodeo to Bozeman, MT. That was the beginning of growth for college rodeo that continues today.

All of those experiences have contributed to Bad Company Rodeo’s success and are setting a path for the future. They also helped Altizer start one of the premier bucking bull breeding programs in the industry under Rodeo Ranch Genetics. With sires like Copenhagen Wild Thing, Satan’s Own, Hammer Time, Tequila, Maniac, and Walk this Way, who first had success in the arena and now are proven sires, the next generation of Bad Company Rodeo bucking bulls is making a name for themselves. Those genetics are also being utilized by other bucking bull breeders when they purchase semen out of Rodeo Ranch Genetics sires. Bad Company Rodeo is taking their progress further through the “Who’s Your Daddy” junior bull riding series, giving young bull riders the opportunity to test their metal against the young bulls.

Bad Company Rodeo is the most award winning Stock Contracting Company in the industry. In 1998, they received the coveted “Stock Contractor of the Year” award, in 1999 and 2000 they received Stock Contractor of the Year Awards from the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) and the Professional Women’s Rodeo Association (PWRA). Bad Company Rodeo is also the only PRCA Stock Contractor to provide livestock for every competition event at the PRCA’s World Championship events, the National Finals Rodeo and the National Finals Steer Roping.
