Logan Adams

Trailblazer

Born 1932 in Medina, Texas, Logan Adams has had a lifelong passion for the western lifestyle.  He has been able to fulfill these dreams by being a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association since 1957 and active as a Gold Card member from 1982.

Competing professionally in the sport of rodeo, he has enjoyed success in the calf roping at almost every major professional rodeo in the United States.   His interest in the sport continues with involvement in The Bell County Cowboys and Cowgirls Ring of Honor, American Quarter horse Association, and The 3C Cowboy Fellowship Church in Salado, Texas.

Logan has been involved in the cattle industry as owner of a major livestock marketing firm John Clay Cattle Company which was located in the historic Union Stockyards in San Antonio, Texas.  He also maintained his childhood roots and raised his family in The Hill Country of Texas where he engaged in an active ranching lifestyle.

As a devoted family person, Logan has been married to Mabel for 60 years and supported his three children, Merrill, John, and Jimmy, through the sport of rodeo.  As a result, each of his children was successful in rodeo events.

Today he continues his passion by teaching his roping skills to young cowgirls and cowboys in pursuit of their dreams.
