A member of the PRCA Committee in 1958-59 which included Lex Connley, Harley May and Bo Lawrence that met with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Committee, which included President Doug Marshall, Jessie Jones, Mr. Stelzig, Edgar Brown, Jr and others to get the PRCA back to Houston. The meeting was successful and the PRCA came back to Houston and is one of the largest PRCA Rodeos in the country today.
