Corley Cox is accomplished at barrel racing, breakaway roping, team roping, and goat tying. She has won PRCA events in Denver, Pecos (twice), Gladewater, Sonora, Helotes and many more. Corley is the 2nd Annual Betty Gayle Cooper Roping All-Around Champion, a four-time THSRA State qualifier and three-time National qualifier.

She was the 1978 THSRA Barrel Racing Champion, NIRA Southern Region All-Around Breakaway Champion (1984, 1985), Southern Region All-Around Champion (1985), and has qualified to the NIRA finals four times. In 1985 she led the Texas A&M women’s rodeo to a 2nd place finish in the Southern Region which gave the team the opportunity to compete at nationals. Corley won all but 40 of the points that year.

Corley has won several futurity and derby barrel racing titles and qualified to the National Finals Rodeo in 1992 aboard one of the youngest horses ever to compete at the national finals, Pokey, who was 5 years old. Corley is a ten-time Texas circuit finals qualifier.
