Clinton Wyche was born in Markham, Texas. He has worked as a ranch hand, breaking horses among his other ranch work. At 16 Clinton won the bull riding competition at the T Diamond in West Columbia and that win sparked a 20-year rodeo career.
Wyche worked all three rough stock events throughout the U.S. and won 5 bull riding titles and one saddle bronc title. In 1968, he was the Bull Riding Champion in the Southwestern National Cowboys Association.
In 1973 he retired from rodeo competition to raise his family. Clinton resides in Houston, Texas
