Broke, trained and sold rodeo  horses. Bred and raised bucking bulls. Member of Texas High School Rodeo Association, AJRA, NIRA & PRCA

• 1973 Las Cruces, NM won Bareback
• 1978 Stanford Bareback and Saddle Bronc Champion
• 1982 Dalhart XIT Bareback Champion
• 1984 Stephenville PRCA Saddle Bronc Champion
• 1989 Roaring Springs Saddle Bronc Champion
• 1994 Clay County Champion Saddle Bronc and Bareback
